Talib Kweli and Madlib Proclaim Liberation
Free nine track ep available for download
In a refreshing move that signals a true love for the art and culture of hip hop music above all else, Talib Kweli and Madlib quietly released a free to download album on the eve of the New Year.Titled Liberation, the album is a nine track EP that combines the most heralded qualities of each artist. Madlib brings the beats stripped down and sample heavy, while Talib admittedly brings it back to the form that many of his underground fans love, saying on his Myspace page, "Some fans will say this is the sound they want to hear from me all the time. If so, congratulations, you got your wish".
The album, which features guest appearances from Consequence, Strong Arm Steady and Candice Anderson is now available for download from a couple of sources. Fans can grab the album through the Stones Throw home page at www.stonesthrow.com.
